CEDRIC PICARD

Cédric was born and raised in southern France where he lived until love brought him to the States in his mid-twenties. He has worked in the wine industry for more than twelve years: for a vineyard in southern France (Château-Bas—a côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence), as a wine rep in the Detroit area, and in sales and consulting in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was affectionately known as a "wine guru" or, more simply, "The French Wine Guy." Cédric became an American citizen a few years ago and now lives in Tacoma, Washington, with his family. Although the Pacific Northwest boasts its own impressive wine scene, Cédric has always dreamed of sharing his native terroir and gastronomical patrimoine with curious Americans. Knowledgeable, friendly, and bi-lingual, Cedric will make your introduction to French wines enriching and unforgettable.
