wendyA highly competent and creative Home Economist from Australia with a passion for food, wine, cooking techniques and taste education. The last 15 years of her living in Italy and France has taken her on a culinary journey full of wonderful discoveries. Including firsthand experience with Italy's greatest chefs. Wendy's favourite outcome although has been to cook alongside and share recipes with the best regional home cooks - the Italian mamma's. "It's all about the pleasure of finding out more and satisfying that gastronomic curiosity! Seeking out the best local produce and transporting them back into the kitchen". In 2009 she joined the established Antonelli San Marco winery in Montefalco - Umbria where she has been responsible for creating a successful new cooking school and food & wine tasting program for the Italian and foreign market. As her clients tell – "Wendy is endowed with a natural charm, a sense of humour and has confidence in delivering information to the public". She enjoys immensely working with people and passes on her acquired knowledge with great passion. April 2012 will see the launch of her own "Foodie's Italy" in conjunction with Joan Hill of Tuscany: A Journey for the Senses LLC, a personalized tour based in Rome and Umbria – designed for food & wine lovers with a splash of art, history, culture and stylish shopping.
